We have a new contest for all of you corpse lovers, one that will make you jump off your boots and go headbanging all around! It's the All Great and Stinky Zombie Rock Contest!

How to participate.
Submitions should picture any musician or band portrayed as a zombie or in a zombie situation.
Good quality is a must to play this game!

How to win.
A jury of fine horror artists will qualify your works. ( We'll let you know who they are soon enough ).
Quality. This is the main characteristic we will be judging. We're deadly serious about that.
Creativity. Be smart, you have a lot of elements to play with, the musicians, the lyrics, the audience, the instruments, the fashion, surprise us.
Gore details and humor. These aspects can give you extra points.

Deadline.
December 31. Yes, you have two whole months! That's right, so dont complain about how much homework you have.

Prizes.
The first place gets a signed print of any image in Beardo McWeirdo's gallery! And of course stays on the front page of Zombie-Nation.
The three first places get featured on zombie-nation's journal, of course.

Undead artist of the month, by Ed-Autumn

ROSS CAMPBELL

He has been a favorite of mine for years now and a friend that I keep in touch with. He has worked for several writers as an artist but also has his own successful series. His most well known series is Wet Moon (Vol.4 will be coming out soon!) and he also has others such as The Abandoned, Water Baby, Mountain Girl and more.

His book The Abandoned is about a group of young adults who live in some forgotten tiny hick town and by some freak accident, find themselves face to face with a marauding group of undead. With a funky twist style in art that is unique to Ross, and love for the good ol' campy horror style of zombie thrillers we all know and love, the story, coupled with deliciously gorey imagery and a tinge of romance (as much as there can be in a zombie tale), keeps you hooked and practically begging for more. Plus, the end offers an unforeseen event that will wrench your mind and your guts. Seriously one of the first books of Ross's that I read which made me fall in love. It's not the typical zombie schmutz being poured out of everyone's ass -- this is some serious respect and love for the decaying, stinky, no good undead Definitely a must have and must see; and it wouldn't hurt to look at his other works: hot chicks, fun and weird adventures, amputee love and more! What's not to like??

Being a member isn't enough, your works have to be of good quality. If youre not very good, try to compensate by being creative, humorous or smart. Put an effort on it! Gorey aint enough, must be also juicy.
